Top 5 Sports Apps Performance in Austria Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top sports apps in Austria showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

bergfex: hiking & tracking from bergfex GmbH saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, peaking at about $28.5K by the end of June. The app's downloads also increased, reaching over 8.1K in early June, while weekly active users grew significantly from 88.4K to 114K throughout the quarter.

DAZN - Watch Live Sports experienced fluctuating revenue, with a peak of $31.6K mid-April. Downloads spiked at 11.3K in mid-June, corresponding with a rise in active users from 20K to over 40K by the quarter's end.

The Vienna City Marathon app, published by mika:timing GmbH, showed initial high downloads of 13.9K at the start of the quarter, but this quickly tapered off. Active users followed a similar downward trend, dropping from 39.6K to around 6.4K.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer from ELECTRONIC ARTS maintained steady revenue, peaking at $24.7K in early June. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight increase to 2.7K in June, and active users rose from 37K to 44.8K.

The Wings for Life World Run app, developed by Red Bull, witnessed a surge in downloads in late April with 18K, though this dropped sharply afterward. Active users peaked at 59.3K in late April, before declining to 7.2K by the end of June.
